Boston City Campus- Durban

Amanda from Boston city campus Durban, approached us about the upgrade to their Lobby area. There was no formal design layout or brief, but rather a discussion of preferences and colour variations that would work to kit out their lobby area to facilitate queries and applications for potential students. This project was a lot of fun for us, as Amanda trusted us to bring our own style to the furniture which was all to be custom made, due it having ‘non-standard’ dimensions.

For the Majority of this project we opted again to use 30mm Solid Ash, and Ash veneer where applicable. The Result is a clean, functional, no-frills look that brings just the right amount of style whilst remaining functional, which was obviously very important in the high traffic environment that it is. The furniture follows the theme of most of our previous items, using minimal steel work, constructed in angled or geometric Lines to create a sense of ‘sophisticated playfulness’.
